Summer break is a time for fun, rest, and family—but for many children with occupational therapy (OT) goals, it's important to avoid regressions over the break. At Lake County Pediatric Speech & Language Therapy, LLC, we’re excited to offer a new solution: our OT Summer Camp, launching June 9th!

What Is the OT Summer Camp?

Our OT Summer Camp is not your typical group camp—it’s a customized, 1-on-1 therapy program designed specifically to help children continue working toward their IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals during the summer months.

Children will receive individualized OT sessions from our licensed therapist, focusing on skills such as:

  • Fine motor development (e.g., handwriting, cutting)

  • Sensory regulation

  • Self-care skills (e.g., dressing, feeding)

  • Coordination and motor planning

  • Executive functioning and attention

Why Join OT Summer Camp?

Many children experience regression in their skills over long breaks from school-based therapy. Our camp helps prevent that by offering consistent, focused support in a fun and engaging setting.

Benefits of joining:

  • Maintain and build on OT progress made during the school year

  • Receive personalized care tailored to your child’s unique goals

  • Flexible scheduling that works with your summer plans

  • Work with experienced pediatric therapists in a supportive, play-based environment

Who Is It For?

This camp is ideal for:

  • Children with IEP or 504 plans involving OT goals

  • Kids who need a little extra support over the summer

  • Families looking for continuity of care outside the school year

Important Details:

  • Start Date: June 9th

  • Location: Lake County Pediatric Speech & Language Therapy, LLC

  • Format: All sessions are 1-on-1, personalized for your child
